Attiya is a Middle Eastern dancer and choreographer, sought after performer for
the Rochester’s Turkish society, and a member of the Sahara Shimmer dance ensemble.
She began her foundation of dance with ballet, jazz, and tap at three, and her training
of Middle Eastern dance at the young age of nine.
When she is not in the studio or on the stage, Attiya is studying hard and spending
time with close friends. Coming from a large family with close ties, family
is very important and means a lot to her. Dance has given her mother and her
a special bond that keeps them very close.

Attiya travels to Korea
Winning the Junior Champion at the Bellydancer of the Universe Competition caught the eye of the Korean Bellydance Association. On May 5th, 2009 Attiya is being sponsored to compete in the World BellyDance Competition for Juniors in Seoul, South Korea. She is very excited and honored to be asked to compete in an international competition and be able to represent the the United States.
